Authentic Moldavite from Chlum, Czech Republic. Moldavite (tektite) formed approximately 14 million years ago by a meteor impact. It is believed that the impact vaporized the meteor and surrounding material, which then solidified and rained back down. Moldavite is only found in the Moldau River Valley in the Czech Republic.
